Would RecommendI bought this to temporarily stop a very minor leak on a copper union fitting on a hot water heat system. A little hard to get to (not the tapes fault) but 2 wraps and it hasn't leaked since. Hope this doesn't jinx me !!

Pipe Wrap Tape save.
Would RecommendI had a leak under my kitchen sink. Went to replace the seal and the nut holding the seal was striped and could not be removed. Started to wrap the tape. Pulled tight so it sealed the leak. The leak stopped.

Big Dissapointment
Would Not RecommendI bought this as a temporary fix for a pinhole leak in a water pipe. It would not adhere to itself and did not seal the pipe. In the past, I have used Magic Tape which is rubber instead of silicone based. It was magic, this product is not.

Rescue Tape
Would RecommendWorked as I expected it to work repairing my iPhone charging cable! Very hard to find in the store, even the help did not know where it was located. But I found it and it was worth the effort!

Pipe Tape
Would Not RecommendThis tape wouldn't hold a minor leak on a ice maker line, keep leaking out at seams.

Needed to add a little thickness to the barbed fitting on drain hose for dishwasher. This worked great hose clamp thightened down for a leak proof seal.

Great for stopping pinhole leaks
Would RecommendBasically, this is great to temporarily stop/slow a leak until you can repair or replace damaged pipes.
Got a leak, in a pinch?
Would RecommendTape is good and easy to use. Wouldn't recommend permanently but when in a pinch...

Corrugated hose leak
Would RecommendSealing an irregular surface is difficult. This tape stretches 300% and vulcanizes to itself. This allows sealing irregular surfaces such as dish washer drain hoses.

Works
Would RecommendGood product, it works, stopped the leak. However, it was a bit difficult to use in the crawl space; sloping floor, tight access, resulting in 20 minutes of uncomfortable effort and sore leg muscles the next day, but not the product's fault.

Not worth the money
Would Not RecommendI had a small drip leak at the elbow of a pipe. Per the instructions, I applied the tape. It stretches well, but breaks easy. After getting it applied, the leak still found it's way out of the tape. Did not work in the least.

Self Sticking no glue pipe wrap tape.
Would RecommendAlthough I did not use it on a pipe this time I used it to hold something in place that I did not want any glue residue on, worked perfectly! It would work for many applications; such as rubberized handle grips on tools or bikes. It does form a water tight seal on pipes* Just stretch tight as you apply for a strong flexible water tight seal. Use it anyplace you want a flexible rubberized coating or seal, but it must be able to wrap around and upon itself because it only sticks to itself. * Use ...

WOW
Would RecommendI am replacing my kitchen countertops and faucet which are aged, the copper supply line developed a pinhole and leaked under the sink, I didn't want to be w/o water in the kitchen for 3 weeks waiting for the new countertops and faucet to be installed so I figured what do I have to lose and bought the tape, it was the best 5 bucks I spent. it saved the day no more leak and I can wait till the new countertop and faucet get installed best part is I have water till then.

Not Worth it
Would Not RecommendI tried this on a small leak at a connection and it was useless. They used to carry a Red Product similar to this and it worked great, I had a small leak at a connection were PVC Screwed into a Brass Fitting and it never leaked again using the red tape product. This product would not even stick to it self and never stopped the leak. I ended up easily removing this product and then disassembled the joint used a paste and it sealed the leak between PVC and Brass.
