Very messy and drips a lot but does the job.

It’s okay but it drips a lot when using. You end up getting a lot of it on your hand and on the floor as is drips down the can. Not sure why that happens. Other than that, it works okay.

Horrible quality. Very undependable

Returned product to Lowe’s once wish I could had a second time but decided to make due to inconvenience. Returned due to not working. Followed instructions precisely. Totally froze. Second time followed precisely and product dispense clumpy. Made horrible “texture”. Clumpy. Inconsistent. 30$ for top quality junk. These type of texturizes applications freeze often holding up progress. Really read up before buying. Novice DIYer trusting label stating best. #fail. Do better folks!!!

Allowed me to get a decent texture with no experience. Easy to use and not a lot of mess.

Easy to use, adjustable, professional looking texture, dries quickly, cleanup a snap, and so much better than other brands

Bought one can to see if this worked better than Homax knockdown. I followed all instructions and pulled the trigger... nothing happened. Beware.

Does a great job, and easy clean up for the overspray on the parts of the room I missed taping off. The oil based stuff works even better, but the cleanup is rough.

Poor Orange Peel Ceiling Texture Product

Poor results for standard-height ceiling despite optimal conditions, user preparation and related experience. This product performed poorly because it lacks sufficient continuing pressure (internal gas exhausts too soon, relative to DAP claims of spatial coverage at various densities; fine, medium, heavy particles), unpredictable patterns despite cogent operator performance and planning to place/adhere material particles to the properly prepared ceiling drywall surface. This stuff is awful!!! We have used this kind of product in the past with great results. But this stuff is horrible. It's supposed to dry in 30 min. or so. Well we went back 2 DAYS later to roll paint over the sprayed area and it started to come off on the roller. What a mess. Such a waste of money.

Waste of time and money

I have always used the DAP brand for other products they offer and when I needed to patch some popcorn ceiling areas I was very happy to see they made a spray. First thing I noticed was it was priced quite a bit higher than the other products on the market and I assumed this was because it actually worked unlike the other brands. Well I was very disappointed when I went to use it. First all the reviews I have seen say you need to shake it ALOT. I did this till I could hear the ball rattling cons...

Product came out like mayonnaise....

Per the directions, shook can for 3 minutes (directions say one minute) inverted, and even ran can in warm water for a minute. Ambient temperature was 70 in the house. At first, lot of propellant and not a lot of "popcorn", then as the propellant was running out, product oozed out like mayonnaise.... Will scrape it off, and try competitors product

This stuff sucks

4 cans couldn't satisfactorily cover a 14" by 12' patch. Unhappy customer. No help from the service desk as far as any reimbursement either.
