Awful

I purchased and returned 3 cans. I bought one and it worked for about 2-3 seconds and I let off of the trigger. It never sprayed again. Rinse and repeat 3 times total. The only reason I tried 3 is because I'm at Lowe's almost daily so it was easy to return and grab another can.

Coating was to thin; Very little "popcorning".

Spray was difficult to control even after shaking for 1 minute and applying at the 12" to 18" range per the instructions. Coating was to thin; Very little "popcorning" affect.

Canned Ceiling Texture Sprays Don’t Work

Ceiling texture sprays just don’t work as described, despite the effort and expense the consuming public places into these products. Same dismal experiences with both DAP and Homax products: nozzles get clogged way too quickly, 50-60% of the texture ends up on the floor, spray adjuster ceases to work and the can pressure runs out before the contents have been ejected and used. Product should be pulled from the market for ceiling use. And in fairness to the makers, does work well on walls.

Easy to use application container. But not good for small patching projects cause the spray pattern is too much for the job.

Good for both Ceiling and Wall

The orange peel texture did great for both a place where I replaced popcorn ceiling and a patch I needed to do on the wall!

Don’t waste your time with this

Absolute useless garbage. Can’t even spray the ceiling and sprayer clogs up all the time. Covers about 4 sq ft a bottle because most of the product will end up on the floor.

Tried it once never again

Weak spray barely pushing out the material. The texture is too smooth and can’t replicate heavy knockdown ceiling pattern. Awful just wasted $70+

Make sure you cover everything with drop cloths.

Works OK but very messy.

Issues with nozzle and jamming.

Jammed on first use. Shook the can as directed then did a test spray, and it never sprayed again, until it blew the top off and spilled its guts all over the place. I returned it.

Save your money

Worse product ever! Save your money and time because the amount of mess it made was awful. Had more on me than the ceiling. Not to mention I’m sitting in here listening to it drip off the ceiling into the tarp. Don’t do it! I would give it zero stars if I could.

Returning

Nozzle gets clogged and is hard to control the can, trigger is in an awkward position, stopped working and made a mess of my wall which I'll need to sand down and start over. Stick with the Homax products. Now I know why it was on sale for $5 off, like they always say, get what you pay for.
