Would RecommendPlastic Wood Natural Wood Filler,is a very good product that can be used to repair both small and large areas of damaged wood. For larger repairs, it does take more time to properly fill deeper gaps, often requiring multiple applications. However, once it hardens, it performs very well and can be sanded to a smooth finish. I’ve also had great success with color matching. Plastic Wood takes stain nicely and works well with both oil-based and acrylic paints.

Would Not RecommendThe filler is very runny...like soft yogurt. Very difficult to apply on any vertical surface, especially to fill/patch decorative mouldings. I have had to mix it in the container, pour it out and form into a patty on cardboard, wait about 4 hours for it to slightly harden to a clay consistency, and then apply.
