What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the pink-to-white color-change feature for eliminating guesswork about drying time, and many highlight smooth application and low dust during sanding. Most report excellent results for small repairs and beginner projects, with several achieving professional finishes using thin coats. However, a substantial group reports serious adhesion problems, particularly when bedding joint tape, with tape failing to stick or peeling off. Many also experienced drying delays exceeding 24 hours and excessive shrinkage. Despite these drawbacks, most customers find the color-change feature invaluable for DIY work.

Beware of "Low Dust" claims
Would Not RecommendUnfortunately Primer and paint does not adhere properly to 'low dust' mud. There are numerous problems with bubbles forming, or paint pulling off the area.

Too thin and long dry time
Would Not RecommendThis product is runny, drips everywhere and slides down the wall before it dries. Left the patches overnight and the product was still very wet after 19 hours. Not practical. Use the regular white stuff.

Perfect for repairs and other small jobs.
Would RecommendFeathers out very nicely for smaller repairs with hardly any sanding.Yet when I tried doing regular tapping with it, I found it hard to work with.

Runs
Would Not RecommendIt`s ok, but if you put it on thicker than a sheet of paper it will run. Regular stuff for me from now on.

Product not acceptable
Would Not RecommendThis joint compound was way too runny and would just drip when you tried to apply it. I would under no circumstances recommend this to anyone. It took three times as long to do the job as it should have taken due to the consistency of the product. I would have rated it lower if it were possible.

Would RecommendIt's convenient to have the color change from pink to white so that you know is dry, especially when you are patching larger areas.

Dry Tine not correct!
Would RecommendI had a ceiling leak due to a damaged roof vent boot. I had to repair 2’ x 3’ area, depth if 1/2” max I am writing this review so others are aware dry time is much much more when u have a large repair area. Even if done in layers. I do however like that no mess from any sanding i did. I in the past have been covered in sanding dust so that is a definate plus. Just be prepared it will take time
it''s what it is
Would Recommendthe bucket contained what I expected. it performed as I expected

Shrinks too much!
Would Not RecommendI wasted money with this. This shrinks more than other joint compounds like ProForm. Not only does it shrink more but if you use joint tape, it will not adhere well and will start peeling away or bubbling. With proform I was done the first time. Just sand and you are good to go for painting. With this junk I have to do multiple coats of the compound and now have to redo my tape as well.
