This does NOT work!
Would Not RecommendThis Weldwood "original" contact cement is NOT the same "original" contact cement (see picture) I had used over the years to put on new rubber soles and heels for my shoes. The image on the can is different and it does NOT work as intended. I applied it to BOTH surfaces and waited for them to dry as instructed, and the rubber sole/heel does NOT "bond on contact" permanently with the shoes as expected. It's still gooey and stringy when pressed together and the layers do not stick to the conto...
