Would RecommendTHe paper is not suitable for wet locations. I find your labeling mislading. “Roof underlament” is not what you use it for. It can be used under hardood flooring as a slip joint for noise reduction.
Red Rosin Paper.
Would RecommendBought it to use as a vapor barrier for hardwood floor installation. Works well as all the floors are above grade and have a finished basement below. Climate controlled.
Great Underlayment
Would RecommendUsed as underlayment for hardwood flooring in rooms above a dry finished basement. Worked like a charm - could hear the difference between the wood floors with this underlayment and the wood floors the builder put down with very thin paper underlayment. Relatively tough and hard to crinkle or tear but cuts easily with a razor. Would not use in rooms above crawl spaces or damp basements because it is not a moisture retardant.
