What Customers Are Saying
Most customers report the owl decoy successfully deters birds and squirrels from porches, gardens, and yards, with many noting reduced droppings and nesting. Reviewers praise its realistic, lifelike appearance and highlight that moving it regularly prevents habituation. However, a notable group finds it completely ineffective, reporting birds ignore or perch beside it, particularly crows and persistent species. Several mention it needs weighting to stay upright. Overall, most customers consider it worthwhile despite mixed results.

Owl doll
Would RecommendI'm so happy that after I installed the owl doll in the grass where the crows had dug up the lawn, no crows or other birds came.

So far so good!
Would RecommendLike the fact that it seems to be working & keeping the woodpecker away from our wooden siding where he or she was making holes!

Birds Ignore it!
Would Not RecommendI had such hopes of this owl keeping the birds away from my front porch and thus not having their mess anymore. I love birds but hate the mess. Well, they.play all around the owl and basically ignore it! I guess they know it's not real. A waste of money.

Laughing at my owl.
Would Not RecommendBought this to scare some crows away. It didn't even slow them down. I am not sure if crows can laugh but pretty sure these crows were laughing at me.

Loving my owl 🦉.
Would RecommendTwo weeks of use and this owl solved my problem. My patios were over run by birds and problem was getting worse every year. After using on back porch there's no more birds or bird poop present. Still have birds in hanging baskets on front porch which has no Owl. Maybe i'll move my owl to from porch and see if the birds leave.
