What Customers Are Saying
Most customers report the owl decoy successfully deters birds and squirrels from porches, gardens, and yards, with many noting reduced droppings and nesting. Reviewers praise its realistic, lifelike appearance and highlight that moving it regularly prevents habituation. However, a notable group finds it completely ineffective, reporting birds ignore or perch beside it, particularly crows and persistent species. Several mention it needs weighting to stay upright. Overall, most customers consider it worthwhile despite mixed results.

Would RecommendIt seems to keep the squirrels from running across our pool screen. Yay! It is light weight and was easy to mount. Looks very real and we named him Darius. :)

Cute but not effective
Would Not RecommendAlthough well made, it doesnt deter squirrels and/or other larger birds. It is very light weight, it has a removable plug so I added gravel.
