Other holders are better
Would Not RecommendCompared to other bit holders, the Vortex is not very good. 1) The outside does not sleeve down to help hold the screw in place while driving and 2) it holds the bit so tightly because the opening that holds the bit is not sized correctly that you have to use pliers to remove them. I'm giving mine to goodwill.
Great for long use
Would RecommendCresent sent me this to give my review on this product. Well I finally was able to get back into the shop. And I needed to hang some stuff with 1/4 2 in. lag bolts. I thought this would be a good time to test this. I also paired this up with a cresent 3/8 impact nutsetter.This tool is a solid piece. I was able to drive these lag bolts in with no predrilled holes effortlessly. My only complaint is it is almost impossible to pull out the the bit. Fantastic!
Would RecommendI got a sample one of these to test out and review, pretty impressed with it. Using it currently to install some drawer slides in a set of ash cabinets and the magnet is the perfect strength for these little #6 screws, alot of bit drivers can't even hold the screws on there without falling let alone the bit holder itself. It is a little thicker than I wish it was, makes it kind of hard to get in some weird places I need it to, but other than that it's great!

Magnetic Impact Bit Holder
Really liked this product. It works great. Used it several times and did not have any issues with it.I would recommend it to friends and family. I did not have any problems with it. This is a great tool because it holds the screws for you.
Stable and Innovative!
Would RecommendSo far this bit holder has been pretty impressive, well built and solid. I did a little fooling around with different bits (Ryobi bits, not the best) in wood and metal and never broke a bit. I still want to put this through the wringer. In fact, I broke screws rather than bit heads. So far I'm impressed, we'll see how it lasts over the long haul, but I'm optimistic this is a fantastic tool.

Would RecommendI am normally skeptical of claims like "500X Bit Life." I have not used the Vortex enough to say for sure it increases bit life 500X, but I am not skeptical of their claim! The Vortex bit holder absolutely rocks! Just buy one, you won't be sorry!

Easy bit holder to use.
Would Not RecommendLove the holder. Only draw back is that screws aren't magnetic onto the bit. I am very disappointed by that.

Crescent Vortex Magnetic Bit Driver
Would RecommendI’m very impressed with the quality and performance of this item and Crescent’s driver bit sets. The Vortex really works well for me in my Bosch brushless drills!!! After using several other brands that seems to wear out too fast….I’m consolidating all my bits down to only Crescent brand drive bits used in my new Bosch brushless hand drills!!! All bought from Lowe’s at great pricing and fast delivery!

Wide footprint
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bit holder holds your bits as you would expect. The footprint of the bit holder is a little wide so depending on your usage it may need to be switched out for those tight angled applications. I would definitely buy it in the future but not use it as my only option.

Vortex Bit Holder is the way to go
