Lock Button Broke Immediately
Would Not RecommendPlastic lock button flew out onto the floor when I was testing extensions on my bench . Never even used them. Found the button on floor and got it back in, to get my socket released. Craftsman needs to stop coming up with these gimmicks and stick with what works! Who wants a failure like that on a job. These are going back for sure.
Worst tools I own
Would Not Recommend1 star because they are at least shiny. If I wanted junk tools I would have went to harbor freight. The black tab is absolutely useless, as soon as I try to put the socket on the bolt is falls off. Bought these maybe 2 months ago and I'm about to snap them so I can justify to my wife buying snapon ones .

Check your sockets before purchasing
Would Not RecommendMost of my 1/4" Craftsman sockets do not have a dimple in the square drive hole to accept the lock's ball bearing. So the lock doesn't work and the socket is not held on the extensions very securely. The normal spring loaded ball bearing works better in this situation. Nice product, but usability can be limited by the sockets you have.

Would RecommendI use my 1/4 drive sockets alot and this extension set covers most of my needs.This style has a small latch that you have to slide to allow the extension to release the socket.
