What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the reliable locking mechanism—whether push-button or sliding-lever design—for preventing sockets from slipping off during use, especially in tight spaces and deep-reach applications. Reviewers consistently describe the extensions as well-made, durable, and offering strong value. Many highlight the firm, springy action that provides confidence and control. Some express concerns about design changes between product images and received items, or compatibility issues with older sockets lacking the required internal dimple. Despite these minor drawbacks, most customers find the locking system indispensable and highly recommend the extensions.

Would RecommendBetter design than the original. I have part of a 3 pc set that is 35 years old and I think the new ones are better.

Quality Tools
I purchased these to use with a special under sink faucet tool, that ended up not working in my case. So this was another of those unnecessary "Often Purchased Together" items. I'm sure I'll end up using these in other situation, though.

Does not fit original Craftsman 1/4" sockets.
I have a original Craftsman 1/4" socket set. I was excited to get this extension bar set. However very disappointed when I pulled them out to work on a washing machine and the extension bar does not fit the Craftsman 1/4" sockets. Is it too much to expect from a Craftsman extension bar to fit a Craftsman socket?

3 pc. Quarter inch socket extensions.
Would RecommendA trusted brand with I believe a lifetime guarantee. I only needed a long extension and am pleased to get the other two as well.

The locking end is great
Would RecommendLove the locking ends where the socket stays. No pulling the extension up without the socket.

Socket Extensions
Would RecommendThese socket extensions are okay; however, you must make sure your socket match up with these extensions. These have the push button release on them, so the socket you use with these should be made to use these push button extensions.
