Would RecommendGreat set of impact sockets. Only issue is fitting the sockets on the impact wrench, very tight. I hope it gets easier as time goes on.

Craftsman 289
Would RecommendI had been eyeing this or the similar kobalt set. I actually ended up getting it when I won the $500 during the Lowe’s quarterly digital coupon giveaway. I still had to pay a small amount and taxes. There isn’t much to say about the tools. They’re craftsman and should last my lifetime no problem. The case could be a little better but seems pretty organized. I wish this model had organization for wrenches like the cheaper model does. I figure I’ll end up with a toolbox at some point anyway. Great Tools
Would RecommendI’ve been looking at and comparing tool sets from various manufacturers for a while. I’m very pleased with this particular set for its variety, the fact that it comes with a specific case, warranty, and price. The tools have already paid for themselves eliminating dealership labor which was going to be three times the cost of the tool set. Very happy with the purchase.

Quality product
Would RecommendCrasftmans tools are great and Craftsman offers a lifetime warranty which Lowe’s honors and they will exchange the tools. The tool box seems rather sturdy, as far as plastic tool boxes go, however the only complaint is that the tools do not snap into their allotted slots, therefore if the box is tipped over, the pieces fall out of their slots.

Imprecise
I work as a motorcycle tech and bought this set to use instead of going in debt on the Snap-on tool truck. Was working on a project today only to find out none of the the 3/8” sockets fit their corresponding nut. The 3/8” Gearwrench socket of another tech fit perfectly. I called craftsman and Jim the rep seemed apathetic. Just said I should return the set. I can let one socket go but every socket in the set is unacceptable. I tried to do the economical thing and it backfired.
Sturdy and Ready to Work
Would RecommendLove this set with both SAE and Metric sockets. The included extension is small but enough for most automotive applications. The case rugged, locks rigidly and keeps everything organized. A truly excellent set.
