Get the angle...
Would RecommendSo happy I purchased these tin snips. Had a similar pair without the angle between the cutting edge and the handles. I will never use the straight pair again. Oh, and these snips cut through the tin like it was butter!

Straight-cut Snips
Would RecommendI recently needed a straight-cut snip, I already had one that cut curves & couldn’t make a straight cut with it. I purchased two versions, but ended up only using this one. It is excellent! It provides an angle between the jaw blades and handle which keeps your hand from banging into the sheet you are cutting.
quality tool
Would RecommendBought them to sdd to the tool box. Perfect for cutting chicken wire to put on a large planter to keep critters out. Been using craftsman fir 50+ years.
Horrible dont waist your money.
Would Not RecommendHorrible do not buy. I got fooled by the craftsman name. If your trying to cut foil these will work just fine. But if your doing actual work with them good luck. They have a lifetime warranty but its probably because you will never use them.
Solid product
Would RecommendCut through downspout gutters to fit a rain diverter with no problems.

Works for duct work and roof flashing
Would RecommendBought these to replace a worn out pair. Worked well to cut some ductwork for my water heater and recently used to trim some lightweight roof flashing.
Worthless design
Would Not Recommendcuts LESS than 1/2 inch at time/PER SNIP....really? Also requires large hands to both clasp and cut without hand fatigue. Rediculous design for its intended purpose. Forget cutting an 8 ft roofing panel lenthwise in half..it would take 8 hours! In short WIDE CLASP WITH INSANELY SHORT CUTTING SPAN. WASTE OF MONEY. VERY DISAPPOINTED
Great Tool
Would RecommendWow, how tin snips have improved! Better leverage and easier to use with limited hand strength. Great, buy it!
Easiest pair of scissors. <——see the period!
Would RecommendEasy unlock, easy lock. Smoothest cut, with measure on blade. Serrated edge. Amazing and great product. Army strong hooah.
Not very strong...
Would Not RecommendI was trimming a section of 6 inch duct for an over-the-range microwave exhaust vent. I worked around the single layer of the duct, but the overlap "joint" appears to have been too much for these quality Craftsman snips. I will see if there is any warranty or replacement for this regular use issue. If not, I will continue building my tool collection via the USA made vintage Craftsman tools on (insert well known 4 letter auction site here).
Sharp and easy grips
Would RecommendThese are sharp and with easy grips, you can cut through tin in an instance.
