WHERE CAN I GET A SPOOL

The Trimmer is awesome, but you can't find the replacement spool anywhere. You can't get in contact with Craftsman to ask them about it and on the product reviews where people ask about it or complain, they won't give an answer to where you can get a spool, instead they say they will reach out. STUPID.

Good weadeater for small yards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good weedeater overall not made for large yards though. Ran through a 4ah battery and 2 bars on another 4ah battery in a 30 minute time period. Approximately 5 minutes run time on high and the rest was on low. Had issues with the bump feed at first and had take the head completely apart after receiving to fix it.

Outperforms my expectations

I'm 52 years old and this weedeater is light enough for me to operate with one hand while standing on very steep ground. Absolutely LOVE it. Plenty of power on low speed for grass and most weeds. A single battery allows me to go around my entire 2 acres of fenced yard.

Material cracks easy

Purchased 2 years ago as a combo set. I have replaced spools 4 times since cover cracks easily. Now the guard cracked and fell off and I am unable to find a guard to replace. Considering switching to different brand but all my tools are Craftsman 20v.

Purchased at Lowes in the beginning of season, sometime in May. Worked great the first two times, After that the sting advance became sporadic. I had to advance it by hand. Then the spool cap became loose. I went to Lowes spoke with an associate who said there have been complaints but Craftsman came out with a new cap and spool to fix the problem. Right Power for Small Yard, Poor PlasticDurability

If you buy this string trimmer, know that the head and spool cap are made of incredibly cheap plastic. After a year of use, the plastic started to really break down from normal use and just bumping the head for line feed. After two years I was trying to use products to glue the cap together. After three years the cap came completely apart. Good replacement for my gas trimmer

I like having high and low settings. I used the low setting when trimming around my hosta beds and it didn't dig into the ground like my old gas trimmer did. It was easier to control on low. And then I have a couple of hills where I used the high setting and it does great on high, even better than I expected. There are 3 things I don't like about it: 1.It's uncomfortable to hold.
