Salt Spreading Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spreader is really something special. I used this after getting hit with a snow storm that dropped about 20 inches of snow in my area. I used it to spread salt along my driveway, and the range and speed at which it is capable of spreading things like rock salt on a battery powered tool is absolutely stellar! The next day after allowing the salt to do its magic, i was able to see what a tremendous job it did with evenly spreading the salt a...

One the snow left I used it to spead corn for deer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this speader at the absolutely worst time. It very rarely snows in eastern NC but guess what.......for NC standards it was a blizzard. We finally have gotten some good weather so I finally tried the spreader. I am not ready to spead weed and feed yet so I decided to use it to put out corn for the deer that visit our backyard. At first i was not impressed but soon realized it was the seetings that I had set initially. Over all it pe...

Much easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using a handheld spreader is so much easier for my property than dragging out a full-sized push unit. This model is lightweight but feels very durable. The adjustable speed and flow settings are precise; I was able to switch from spreading grass seed to fertilizer without any "clumping" or uneven spots. It’s also going to be a lifesaver this winter for salting the driveway and sidewalks. The handle is comfortable even after covering a good amou...

Luxury Spreading

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the easiest way imagined to spread small amounts of seed and salt. I have a hand-crank spreader, but it is constantly getting stuck and is quite repetitive. This Craftsman spreader allows you to adjust amount of material spread and the distance of throw with tactile knobs that feel good and help a lot when using gloves. It takes the same Craftsman V20 batteries I use for everything else around my home.

Lightweight and strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and strong. This little guy can hold a whole back of seed (the little bag) which is all I need for my yard. The battery was strong enough to really push this seed out far, so I was able to complete the seeding process sooner. I am waiting on snow so I can try salt in it as well and see how that works out for me. Love my spreader!
