What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pole saw for cutting through branches up to 6-8 inches with ease and reliability. The battery-powered design, lightweight construction, and long runtime—some reporting over 600 cuts per charge—are major strengths, particularly appealing to homeowners and seniors. Most appreciate the intuitive operation and minimal setup. However, some note the extendable pole flexes when fully extended, affecting precision, and several mention the lack of automatic chain oiling requires manual lubrication. Despite these drawbacks, the majority consider it an excellent value for routine yard maintenance.

Cuts clean
Would RecommendIt's a little slow cutting through some branches but has cut everything I've used it on. The battery lasted an afternoon of trimming branches but it would be nice to have an auto oiler.

Misleading advertising
Would Not RecommendI just ordered this pole saw and got it delivered today. When I was assembling it I was trying to figure out where the two speed switch was advertised in the product pictures. After a bit of internet searching I discovered there are currently NO Craftsman pole saws with a two speed switch. So I think this picture showing it having a two speed switch needs to be removed. As for the product itself, I do not expect this thing to last more than a year or two. The motor doesn't spin very fast at all....
Good product.
Would Recommendit does work rather well. I can do my topping of trees, without using a ladder.

Good homeowner unit for the price
Would RecommendPrice was good. The unit does its job on smaller limbs. Has a kickback sometimes because of the power difference between cordless and gas. It doesn’t always bite and cut when you hit the limb. Once you get the hang of it the unit does a good job on small jobs. Homeowner usage is what it’s for. Trimming once a year is ok which is what I was looking for. Having to oil the blade yourself sucks but for the price it’s what you get. No more than I’ll use it its fine. You don’t have to worry about emp...

Great buy for a battery operated pole saw.
I was looking for a pole saw and the price for the Craftsman was a great deal. I was able to order it online and pick it up in store. I used it today for pruning some trees and it worked perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

It is not a self oiling saw. Oil the chainby hand
Would RecommendIt worked great for what I needed it for but it is top heavy when you are using all of the extensions to reach branches that are high.
