What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pole saw for cutting through branches up to 6-8 inches with ease and reliability. The battery-powered design, lightweight construction, and long runtime—some reporting over 600 cuts per charge—are major strengths, particularly appealing to homeowners and seniors. Most appreciate the intuitive operation and minimal setup. However, some note the extendable pole flexes when fully extended, affecting precision, and several mention the lack of automatic chain oiling requires manual lubrication. Despite these drawbacks, the majority consider it an excellent value for routine yard maintenance.

Would Not RecommendThis saw binds & has minimal power. It's good for pruning small hard to reach branches, but it lacks the ability to cut thick branches. The chain gets stuck and/or stops turning too easily. SKIP IT!!
Worth the price
The power it is has is exceptional

It’s heavy before adding extension.
Would RecommendI like it.

Good for a small job, not a living
Would RecommendIt's an okay product. The price is fair and I already had compatable batteries. I would like it to have a bit more power, but with this brand I didnt expect it. It did the job I needed done, and for any small job I would suggest it to another.

NAP
Would RecommendThe pole connection points seem ver loose or weak. Still it performed great.

Good trimmer but could be better
Would RecommendPole us too flimsy when 3 pieces are connected. Trims fast but it is also a little heavy.

Great for the money.
Would RecommendThis is a great little pole saw for the money. Powerful enough for a homeowner. My only complant is the non-automatic oiler. Craftsman, if you ever make a second generation of this tool, can you maybe put an oil tank on the head to manually apply the oil like a primer bulb? That is really my only complaint with this saw

not what I thought it would be
Would Not Recommendalthough the pole saw does a great job of cutting it's build quality is very much lacking it's connection points are held on by two small rivets there they wobble and it just feels like it's going to pull apart anytime you grab a limb with the built-in limb grabber for that reason I don't recommend
You will want this one over the RP series
Would RecommendThis product has a great reach and the battery lasts for a very long time. As long as the branches aren't too big, this thing cuts right through it

piece of garbage
Would Not RecommendI am done buying Craftsman; everything either does not work as intended or breaks easily. The chain comes off all the time, and it wasn't even a thick branch.
Pole saw that cuts above it's class
Would RecommendBeen using this pole saw a bunch since purchase. It works surprisingly well. I've cut many branches on a variety of trees without an issue at all. There is some give in the pole but that might be for the best so it's not rigid/brittle.

Great tool for trimming limbs.
Would RecommendThis limb saw is light enough that an 81 year old can manage it with the included extension. Battery powered so don't have to mess with gas nor pull starting.
