Would Not RecommendWe bought our craftsman chainsaw last fall. The gear will no longer engage and turn the chain. Very unhappy with the quality of the product. I was using it to trim the small manageable stuff around the yard.

Would RecommendI had several limbs fall out of some old oak trees at my home. The chainsaw was easy to use, no gas and took no time to cut up the limbs for removal.

Would Not Recommendat first was decent, but man mine had issues with the oil. My saw was always extra oily, had to put small amounts at a time to not be coated in bar oil. The chain slips off every time I turn around whether oily or dry. The cover warped and now chain will not stay on at all. Don't buy less than a yr

Don't expect to use this a lot
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw was really handy for small jobs. But recently I had several big limbs go down, so I was using it a lot more than I had been. After about a week of work I noticed it started to stop working effectively. Turns out the chainsaw failed due to severe drive gear tooth stripping. And of course there's no replacement options for these gears.

Would Not RecommendIt's lame that this chainsaw doesn't come with 50 cents of bar oil, so you can't even use it out of the box. Come on. If Craftsman is trying to reinvent themselves, this isn't how you do it.

Great little saw
Would RecommendBought this to remove a fallen tree from the storm. As seen in the pics, it did a nice job on 12 in diameter. It did require several battery changes, but it did the job. I would buy again!
Stripped gears
Would Not RecommendWish I would have read the reviews before purchase. Used once to prune a few branches and during that use the blade stopped spinning, motor was running but made loud grinding noise. Seems this is a common issue with this saw.
