What Customers Are Saying

The product is a high-quality, heavy-duty tool for cutting thick branches up to 2 inches in diameter. The compound mechanism provides additional leverage, allowing users to tackle larger limbs than regular loppers. Customers report the sharp blade cuts through branches with ease and appreciate the sturdy, durable construction and long handles that provide good reach. However, some users noted the blades can become misaligned or dull over time, requiring occasional sharpening or adjustment.

Blade not tempered

Would Not Recommend

The blade edge has folded over multiple times with light use. It acts as if the blade was not tempered and is soft steel. I've taken a flat file to the blade several time only to have it happen again a few cuts later. When the blade edge folds over it prevents the blade and jaw from coming together. They looked well built but the soft steel on the blade has made them useless.

lopper woes

Would Not Recommend

Although the lopper is “ heavy duty” and is sturdy, when trying to use on the “ up to two inch limbs” as advertised, the jaws became misalligned. Even though they have adjustment capability, who wants to readjust the jaws after use?

Corona Lopper

Would Recommend

The Corona Lopper, long handle, is light weight and cuts even pretty thick branches. It works well. I pruned 1/2 a ficus tree, just taller than the house.

Honey-Do Fixer

Would Recommend

My wife bought these shears to trim these large branches and low and behold they cut through the 2 1/2 " branches like cutting through butter; the long length gave her extra power and she finished all of the initial work.....another job I don't have to do; Thanks Corona, great "Honey-Do Fixer" product for my wife and I guess for me when I'm asked to do it....LOL

blade bent on cedar after one hour of use

Would Not Recommend

I got one hour of use on cedar branches under 2 inches and the blade bent beyond usability. Either not forged steel or made with substandard steel. The design was good, materials its made of garbage. How the heck do you claim warranty on this waste of money?

Worth every penny!

Would Recommend

These were a little pricier than the inexpensive but broken ones I was replacing. Let me just say, you never regret buying a quality product. These also PERFORM! Wow what a difference the cam action adds to the ease of cutting with these. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend these to everyone.

They look great; but

Would Not Recommend

Compared to my older version with the extender handles, These handles are further apart when closed. This makes it difficult to get in-between shrub branches. The handles are also shorter making it somewhat harder to cut. Personally I'm sorry I bought these expensive loppers.

Branch Trimmer Cuts Like Butter

Would Recommend

I have previously purchased cheap versions only to have them break or not cut easily. This is a professional strength trimmer that cuts through 2" branches smoothly and easily.
