heavy duty

well made and strong. This will get the thick ones.

Works for me

I looked at several different models at a couple of places before getting these. On several models either the handles are flimsy or the jaws appear to have weak points, but these for the price looked adequate. I've used them a few times now and so far they have been a good purchase.

Average

does not cut well. If I could return it I will. I only used it one time and I went back to my old cutter to finish my project.

Suites my needs

I bought these on sale and they work well. The quality of todays products just fall short of excellent but they work well enough to get the job done. I would have only paid full price if I had to. They're not bad for the price paid but they're not great. Inferior materials is the culprit I believe.

Very impressive loppers

Took a chance on these, glad I did these cut better than the Fiskers and they worked about as well as loopers could.

This tool worked very very well on my tree trimming around my house cut thru 2" of wood with little trouble

Heavy, not good if you have shoulder injuries

I have issues with my rotator cuffs and loved the Fiskars Powergear 2" loppers. They broke and weren't in stock, so I bought these which can't quite cut 2" but close enough. I couldn't use these loppers for more than 10 minutes at a time without extreme pain in my shoulders because they are so heavy and harder to use than regular loppers. It isn't easier at all. Bought this to trim my lilac bushes and it works perfect. Just strong enough to get the job done without being too much to handle.
