They are very durable and handy. We use them for camping, working in the dark crawl space under the house, and the kids love it for reading books before bed time.

Great light easy to carry provides perfect lighting for tent.

Light weight, lots of ways to hang/sit. Would have been even better if it came with rechargeable battery.

Got to test this out on a cold rainy night of camping. Nice bright light, and easier to deal with than gas or propane. The rechargeable battery takes forever to charge, so just be aware. I was looking for something smaller for bike packing, but I didn’t really read too much about it before I bought it. It will really be handy for power outages. Overall, I’m glad I bought it and I’ll use it a lot, I’m sure.

They work

I have one already. This is my second one. When the power goes out there is no better lantern. They are stable when you set them down and give plenty of light for hours.

Powerful well built lantern with lots to like!

Received a lantern labeled EAL25 as part of a bundle deal I purchased with the ZX1010 rechargeable battery. The lantern is the same as a EAL22 and the ZX1010 is the upgraded newest battery with 4 lights showing the charge progression. Like the low, medium, high white light and red or red emergency blinking choices for situational versatility. Power is either from 3 D cells or the rechargeable Zx1010. Good selection of brightness levels.

We now have owned or passed on or mysteriously "lost" 7 of these lanterns and never mind having to purchase more for friends or family. We do try to keep the batteries out of them when storing. We also had to learn to pop off the bottom to insert the batteries instead of attmepting to screw on and unscrew the bottom.
