Takes a few days just like any other product but it is worth it. I vacuumed all the debris I could get first, added the product and waited. As long as you get what you can out of the pool with a vacuum that product will be able to do its job. If you don't, you will be wasting time adding more than is really needed and...

Amazing product!!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Filter broke and pool company couldn't come out for a week, in the middle of 100° summer! Needless to say, pool looked like and swamp, and had green and black algae on the sides. I added a whole bottle of this, scrubbed the sides a bit, ran the pump 24 hours and pool looked sparkling blue and clear!! Amazing!

In that time, the water went bad and fast. We used this product as a part of bringing the pool back. It took a couple of treatments but we finally got it back.
