it is the best product I have EVER used in my pool. i don't have to brush or anything else except balance the water. I have not brushed it for twoo summers since I have been using Chloxox products.

This product is without a doubt the best I have ever used. A few years ago I had algae every other day and I tried different products until I was blue in the face. I brushed and brushed and brushed but could not solve the problem. I finally dumped my pool water and started all over, using Chlorox products. Expensive & doesn't work

Bought this product even after reading the horrible reviews, thinking maybe it was user error, hoping it would kill/clear the little bit of black algae I had in my pool. NOPE! I balanced my salt pool perfectly, even had it tested to make sure. I did exactly as the directions on the bottle instructed, including heavily brushing with a wire pool bush to break up the protective layer on the surface of the algae. This product works well if you follow the instructions. You have to balance the chemicals in your pool, backwash your filter, and shock the pool before you use this product. Remember, if your alkalinity is not right, none of you other chemicals will be right either; no matter what they are reading. Regretful buyer

Followed instructions just as the website suggested to trouble shoot my pool I've spend more money trying to fix the water then i did on the pool itself. It's a waste of money. Spent too much time and money trying to fix this problem with this brand of products

Waste of money

I started using clorox brand last year and was satisfied, with the price and product, I had been using another brand earlier in the summer, my pool water was clear when I started using clorox brand. This summer a different story, I followed all the steps, spent way more on these products then I should have! My pool is still green after buying the ph, tablets, 18 bottles of shock, 2 bottles of algecide, and no change! Still green water, and unable to swim! A total waste of money, plus I gotta go ...

Algae no more thanks to this product

followed directions on bottle. shocked pool prior to putting in xtra blue algaecide with the recommended dose. ran pump all day and all night long. very little if any change the next day. not very effective. i will give it a couple of more days and see if it clears up. after reading reviews i was hoping this product would really work but so far disappointed.

We have used it and the water has gotten more blue but it's still not clear.

Great for maintenance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We don't close our pool, so have only used this product for maintenance. It helps keep algae from forming in our pool. The few times we've had a problem with algae this was the remedy we used.

Covers all 3 algae types

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a regular algaecide but was getting little spots of black algae. I recently started using this product weekly and have not seen any algae of any type, even during really warm weather.

Best stuff ever!

Will never go a season without this product. Have not had a problem with our water for the first time this season. Every year prior we ended up with a bad green pool. We had a super hot summer, but not one green pool day. Thank you!

All-in-one Algae Killer
