I have had 4 of these caps (one for each corner of my 252' white vinyl fence), for approximately 3 years. Very nice solar post cap light that provides a measure of security to my backyard stairs. I like the fact that these lights are made from aluminum so they retain their finish longer and stand up to extreme weather and the local birds which like to stand on the lights. The battery in each lamp is easy to replace when the time comes and seems to power the light all night long if there has been at least 6-8 hours of sunlight not obscured by clouds. Classy solar post lights
Would RecommendAll six lights needed to be reconfigured with the appropriate post adapter to fit on the white vinyl 4”x4” post sleeves. This took about a half a hour and might be a little problematic for the technically challenged. They have an elegant look and function correctly. We are very pleased with their appearance. However, I felt a little wasteful, having to dispose of 18 optional vinyl post adapters (more volume of vinyl than the lights themselves).

A nice touch!
We added this light to a post on our privacy fence and it adds a nice little touch to it. Not excessively bright but soft and just enough to illuminate the small area. Quality is better than anything we saw in big box stores.
