I ordered the Kingsbridge Dual lighted solar cap after returning a much lesser quality solar post cap. These are amazing!!! The down lighting on the post is lovely - and the lights stay lit for at least 6 hours. They appear to be sturdy and will be able to handle the Colorado winter. We will see!! Very happy with the quality and price.

Kingsbridge solar cap
These caps add a touch of class to our deck. Good amount of light but only last about 5 hours although the daylight hours are short this time of year. I initially ordered 9 caps and will be ordering 4 more.

Classy and well engineered.
The downlights are able to be moved from one base to the other to accommodate any of the size posts advertised. Gently pry them out being careful not to tug on the wires too hard. It was easily done. Also, the set screws are well disguised with a plug. See photo.

Design weakness (from Rene)_x000D_ Tre screwing axis is very close to the top of the wood pole._x000D_ If that top is:_x000D_ - not perfectly flat_x000D_ - of a poor (or deteriorated) wood structure_x000D_ Or if the screwing direction is slightly bent upward,_x000D_ True screw will not hold._x000D_ The solution ? Not easy to find . Good luck. Some suggestions_x000D_ - screws with conical heads & flat caps._x000D_ - suggest downward screwing (?)_x000D_ _x000D_ Alll in all we are very satisfied.

Not working properly
I had purchased 9 of these lights 2 years ago, I have one that will not light properly, I have changed the battery and it will only work after a heavy rain fall._x000D_ I just purchased 2 more lights as a replacement.

Good quality lights. Possibly bad quality control on assembly
Very happy with the quality so far. Having the versatile mounting options is great and the fact that the top is aluminum should make them stand up to the South Carolina heat. So far my only complaint is that all but one of them of didn’t have the rubber cover installed over the switch inside and they were just placed in the bag with the screw and battery. I would have to disassemble them completely to put it on. Given that the battery terminals are exposed underneath as well, I’m not going to wo...

Better than we could have hoped
These lights give such a nice warm glow to our deck area and posts. They were fully charged within three days, but came on the very first night. Love that they stay on all night. They really define our upper deck space and make it feel like an outdoor room. So much better than the endless darkness we saw from our windows before. Our previous solar lights never worked properly, so these have been such a pleasant surprise. Great purchase.

Base of cap not deep enough to securely fit on a post of any size. The base is cream color and the light is bright white so they don't match and look terrible together. I started a return process by emailing you as instructed on your website and no-one has answered me back. It has been over one week.
