Neat Little Grill

Grill arrived when shipping said it would. Overall good quality. Only issue I had when assembling was on piece of the leg assembly did not have the bolt holes punched through it. Easy enough to get around (glue/self tapping screws) but it was not 100% ready to assemble.

Season your grill!

I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about the high temperature paint bubbling and coming off of the exterior of the grill. Remember this grill started its life as an unpainted steel grill and at the factory it's probably coated in oil to prevent corrosion that oil is to be removed before painting with the high temperature paint otherwise the paint will not adhere to the steel properly. The only thing I can suggest is when it flakes off which it probably will eventually is to take a wire brush...

I would buy this again

Received in great condition. Easy to assemble. Just do not tighten legs until finished. Cooked ten burgers and they came out great.

The PERFECT Grill!

My husband and I have had a Char-Griller patio pro grill for years. After extensive use, we just purchased a brand new one and this company rocks...they have the same quality and durability as the one we purchased years ago...fantastic. We use the grill all the time and it is literally perfect for two people, also for four people. I have sent this grill to family members as a gift too, also perfect!

Second purchase of this model grill

It is a great patio grill, just big enough but not too big, performance is excellent. I have installed a dial indicating thermometer in the lid, which is the only modification that I felt necessary. It is a great grill and at this price point it is outstanding. As note, this is my second grill of this model, first one is still in service after 7 years but the ash drawer slide guides are slowly tiring out due to corrosion, I also added a dial thermometer to this one when it was new.

Should have bought the wrangler grille

Ok here goes this is my 3rd chargriller grille being made of cast iron unless you maintain it it will rust. Taking out your burnt charcoal is a must or you will greatly reduce the life of your grille . So after getting it and doing the assembly I noticed that it is a bit wobbly I have tightened it till it won't tighten any more and it's still a bit wobbly nothing dangerous but not like my previous 2 chargillers. If I had found the Wrangler Pro I would have purchased that grille , I like the chim...

Amazing small grill

This grill has turned to be an amazing bbq, i have used a couple of times cooking some new york steaks, poultry, ribs and sausages. Irs very easy to light up and the cooking surface is pretty good for cooking to 2-6 people. Only downside is the underneath as cabinet which doesnt look well made and all the dripping fat goes to the bottom and starts to drip on the side of the bbq. Im hoping the redesign ash cabinet solved this issue, so i will be updating it when i receive it

Great for single person household!!!

I'll be using this a lot during grilling season! It's a perfect size for a single individual and good to use as a control during dieting !!! Perfect fit for someone watching what they eat.

Just bought this and set it up

I will follow up, if I am allowed, with the results of my first grill. The plan is to do a lime encrusted pork loin (Alton Brown), and veggies.

Good little grille

Takes time to put together. Do not tighten down the bolts on legs til you have firebox install. They tell you that in instructions. Love the ash pan and grate. Hope it holds up. Dont firget to season the cast iron grates and keep them lubed with vegetable oil before and after cooking. I Bought the cover as well. Con. Wheels are lacking and clumsy. Overall a good nicely priced grilled.

Nice grill but I have some issues.

So because all the pieces are stored inside the grill something misaligned the ledge that the cast iron sits on so now one of them moves because it's uneven. Then when I opened the lid all the way it pressed in the little rest piece and dented that part so now it doesn't close all the way. Haven't even used it yet.

Great little grill

I have had this grill for about two years now and it is a great grill for a family of four. It is easy to use and keep clean. While it does a great job grilling steaks, burgers, etc., I have also used it for smoking ribs and they came out great.

I would "might" by this product again if it dies.

First time owner of a cast iron barrel grill. I was disappointed that I had to season the grill for 4 hours before I used it. Not including the time it took me to put it together I just wanted to put it together and start grilling. Directions should have been clearer on which way the items faces concerning the legs. Some parts didn't screw in all the way. Once I put it together and seasoned it I'm ok with it. That was too much work just to grill. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.

Well built, awesome little grill.

I purchased this grill for my daughter's birthday party. I got the charcoal going just right and was able to dish out 10 burgers, 12 sausages, and 10 hot dogs. It maintained great heat for hours. The cleanup was simple with the removable ash catcher. Best $80 I've spent in a while! I know it will last for years but looking forward to purchasing a larger char-griller for larger events.

this is my 2nd. one , both are identical. my 1st. one lasted for many years. ive had other kinds but the charcoal would not last long. the charcoal in the char - griller.last approximately 4 1/2 hours +.

Great grill

It's the third grill I've purchased from this amazing brand. Bought this as a gift and they love it. My only complaint is that it was missing the bottom rack but even without it, we fired it up and enjoyed an amazing surf and turf
