Not a true box extension…
I have worked with better box extensions… this is just as re-purposed LV-1 and required modifications to actually “work” with an installed rework box (buried behind added siding). Not to mention the included screws aren’t long enough to be useful so I had to supply my own longer screws.

Would RecommendUnlike some other extenders, this one will extend a good inch past the old box. I needed 3/4” past my old box to allow for the new lumber wall covering that we added. This extender fit and works great. No gaps or open edges. Very easy to use.

Would Not RecommendPicture is of the previous product sharing this sku. Product is not the same, much bulkier and not as easy to work with, also screws are much shorter than the previous version. Absolutely do not recommend.
Turn off the circuit
Would RecommendPerfect for adding outlets. Make sure not to cut the outlet hole so the 4 tabs are on the outside of the drywall. Install using screwdriver or low setting on drill-not impact driver
