Ratings & Reviews for CANTEX 1 -Gang PVC New work Switch/Outlet Electrical Box
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these electrical boxes for straightforward installation, sturdy PVC construction, and excellent value. Reviewers consistently highlight pre-marked drywall guides, angled nails, and built-in wire clamps that simplify setup. The depth accommodates multiple cables, GFCIs, and dimmers without crowding. Many contrast the grey PVC favorably against older alternatives, noting durability and resistance to cracking. Customers describe them as affordable, reliable, and meeting expectations perfectly. A few mention cheap nails or edge cases with specific wall types, but these rare concerns barely register against overwhelming satisfaction.

23 cu inch box. I used it with a 20 Amp GFCI outlet. Only issue was I didn't notice that the one I chose from the big box had only 1 nail. The other nail had fallen out. Make sure the box or boxes you buy have two nails.

Very Nice Grey plastic box
Would RecommendThis is the very best gray single gang nail on box that I have used. I must admit that I do like the Blue single gang boxes too, but for a less flashy look, the grey fits the bill.
