What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this electrical box for its reliability and ease of installation, particularly for old-work remodels in homes without existing boxes. Most highlight how simple and fast installation is, noting it requires no studs and fits securely in drywall with a helpful template. Many commend its suitability for retrofitting older homes and replacing outdated boxes. However, several reviewers consistently report issues with included screws that strip easily and wing tabs that break during tightening, prompting some to use their own hardware. Despite these hardware concerns, most customers find the box functional and worth purchasing again.

Found a light hanging from the ceiling!
Would RecommendSome how when the contractors installed a light they managed to break the existing box, after 12 years the broken box gave out and I happen to look up and saw the light fixture hanging by the wire! So replaced it with a new one, easy to install, the tool you need is a screw driver!

Odd products for odd jobs
Would RecommendThis is perfect if you have a board ceiling that can support the weight of a fan or light. I did not have room for a regular nail box but so far this has worked wonders. Would definitely use again if needed. The ceiling I have is wood board and had an old metal box that I don’t trust nor was it the right size to be honest. I bought this, turned the screws and it clamped right into place. These type of boxes are great for older homes or jobs where you don’t want to tear out the wall to nail in a ...

Replace 'old' Old Work Boxes
Would RecommendThis 'new' Old Work Box replaced a condition I had with two poorly installed old work boxes from yesteryear. Having three working wings did the trick in firming up sagging wall mounted lanterns. Prior boxes had either broken wings or maladjusted wings, causing the lanterns to sag away from the wall and exposing electrical connections. All firmed up now.
