Would RecommendInstalled one of these through a hardy board siding for a flood light . Used a non carbide 4" holesaw which I only used to mark the outline of the hole . Had to use a 1/8" carbide drill bit & a hammer to finish the hole . The box fit pretty darn snuggly . As anyone that has installed these knows , the key to using any of these boxes while not on a ladder is to tighten & loosen the screws on the wings several times before installing them . Also over tightening the wings is a NO NO ..

Decent but not great
Would RecommendOnce in place this works just fine. Two main issues in installing. One is that the screws in the plastic wings are very tight, so much so that they can twist the whole wing out of alignment. I sprayed the screws w silicone spray and worked them in and out to loosen it all up before installing. Second is that because of the configuration of the wings this wont fit into a perfect circle. Extra sheetrock trimming was required.

Worked As It Should
Would RecommendI needed to mount a new ceiling light fixture and this fit the bill. Easy to use and sturdy. I had no problem with this fitting in a hole I drilled with a 4" hole saw (the box and tabs fit right through the hole without having to tilt it, force it, etc).
Grabs sheetrock from back holds up well
