Left door mechanism needs a redesign.

Unit looks and runs quietly. The only issue is the horrible design for opening the left door. Very stiff to pull open and push close as well as loud. Very annoying.

Not Recommended

Small, loud, and rolls back and forth when I pull the freezer door sometimes. This is the worst fridge I’ve owned. It’s lacking in quality. The water tastes strange even after using an authentic filter, which hasn’t been exhausted.

GE makes great fridge

I would like to see the inside to be a little deeper. I think the drawers for vegetable are too small and overall storage for leftovers and larger milk, juice containers is too small. The shelves in the drawers are wonderful and have a lot of space but for a family of 5 with 3 teenage boys, we need more overall space. Also the alarm goes off so quickly. If you need to clean or organize the fridge it seems like the alarm rings in 30 seconds.

Beautiful design

The fridge aesthetics is stunning. Truly beautiful. The cheap plastic on the interior is another story. The mark up on all refrigerators world wide by all companies must be astronomical because they truly haven't changed much in 60 years. The space inside the fridge is minimal. our old fridge/freezer held 2-3x the amount The roll out tray for our freezer came broken. Regrettable Purchase

I find the water spigot of special concern. It is difficult to push and only works if it is pushed on the right side of the rubber button, cuts off all the time, acts like it might have a twisted tube in that the flow is minimal. The doors are a problem too: hard to close,

Terrible quality, doors hard to close

Terrible product. Poor quality and many annoyances, the worst being that the doors are difficult to close. Normally you just gently push a refrigerator door and it auto closes, but this fridge requires a ton of force to close the doors. It is annoying beyond belief.

Fridge not up to Cafe Series standards.

I bought the Cafe Series fridge, stove and dishwasher. Love the dishwasher and stove, hate the fridge. It has low capacity. The fridge doors don’t open all the way, to 180°. They are hard to pull and you must open both doors to take out anything not on the door ahelves. The temp control (I have a thermometer) keeps it at 31°, no matter the setting. The freezer is small.

Manufacturing defects

Poor quality construction, unit has exposed refrigerator upper door hinges. Freezer door track wheel is just barely on it's track. Unacceptable for a high end appliance.

Could be Better

Looks great and runs fine. However, It vibrates and makes loud noises. It vibrates that it causes glassware in the fridge to make noise. It also makes loud noises when cooling and pumping water.

Issues with temperatures

Poor quality for Price

Creates so much condensation that food goes bad quickly. Have owned GE profile appliances was thinking the quality would be equal of superior, I was incorrect. Very expensive for the poor quality

A nice addition to the kitchen

Great capacity for a counter depth. Great storage except that bottom drawer is not deep enough for a wine bottle to lie flat since they put much larger bins on the door. The doors are somewhat hard to close and will not close on their own even with a fairly hard push. Must manually push on the door to close it.

Rethink This One as a Choice Appliance

The capacity of this refrigerator is awful. I’m not sure why the depth of this appliance is so shallow. The drawer depths are also shallow. And then the gap under the lower long vegetable drawer doesn’t allow for anything to be stored but creates a cleaning nightmare.

Love the style

Love this fridge. I do wish the vegetable/ fruit bens were bigger.

Good looking refrigerator

Love the cafe line but this refrigerator has been a problem & it’s only been installed for Less than 2 weeks

Crummy inside drawers

The drawers in the main frig are wimpy and flimsy and won’t stay in their tracks. The doors tend to stay open unless I forcefully close them.
