This Product replaced a 12 year old unit by Whirlpool. In comparison, this unit looks nicer, but is louder (much) and is less powerful than the unit it replaces.

Hoping the 3rd one works
Would Not RecommendJust had a GE Cafe Series Microwave installed for the THIRD time in less than two years. The first was installed in 9/22 at the time when we also purchased the range in the same Cafe line. That microwave lasted a few months, died, and then had to be replaced. The replacement lasted less than a year and, just yesterday, was replaced again. Though we love the Cafe Series range, can't say the same for the matching Microwave. Hoping this third one will be the last we'll need. We'd advise that ...

Very Disappointing Microwave
Would Not RecommendFan vent is very noisy. The control panel is cheap plastic...not heat sensitive glass touch control like with the cafe induction range. The light is not an LED and wastes electricity and generates a lot of unnecessary heat. Overall, very disappointing
