Great Features

So far I really love the refrigerator, everything works as it should. And the look is amazing. The only reason for four stars is I wish the French doors opened further.

Refrigerator shuts off and loud compressor motor

The quality is definitely sub-par. Right after we installed the refrigerator in our new property, the temperature setting on the door began to automatically change on it's own. The repair tech replaced the computer board. The compressor continuously ran, and it was very loud and cycles continuously. When it is running it sounds like an engine is starting up and cycles very loudly. The repair tech has made several visits and has not been able to diagnose the cause or correct it. Love the size and ability to adjust shelves. Like the different specialized drawers.

Awesome look!

We have only have this refrig in for about 5 days but love the look and performance so far. Based on the previous 5 refrig's we have purchased, I'm sure this will be nothing less than a 5 Star rating.

This is the 1st time we owned any Cafe products. I love them. I will never own anything different

How to remove drawers.

Non intuitive way of removing drawers from refrigerator. Still have yet to be able to figure this out. Hoping someone from production reads my review and gets back to me. No instructions in owners manual. If unable to remove drawers I will have to return product.

Runs very quiet and great shelving

It is the best refrigerator we ever had--smooth operating, the price was a little high. My dad always said you pay for what you get, and he was right. My wife just loves it.

Garbage

I regret the day I picked out this fridge. We are on our second one within 5 years. First one, comprossor quit working, twice. This new replacement fridge, comprossor lasted only 6 months

Very functional

Love the fridge. Super spacious. Looks beautiful. Love the water dispenser with exact measurement units. Hot water works great. Have to take doors off to remove veggie trays unfortunately, but other than that, great fridge!

Great Features

It's spacious and beautiful to look at. I am also delighted with the meat drawer's temperature control feature. Love, love, love...need I say more?

Awesome product!

Excellent product! The only negative is that it is a bit noisy refrigerator. But, it doesn't bother me, but my husband is getting used to it. I wouldn't change a thing, it looks nice, it's spacious, and my fruits and veggies keep longer and I get compliments all the time. Love my GE CAFE!

Great features.

Large capacity. Love the split shelf to allow for taller items. Also the freezer holds a lot. Love the hot water feature.

Short durability

Loved my GE Cafe refrigerator. But as soon as it hit the 5 year mark, things are starting to fall apart. The freezer is building ice and the evaporator broke. The parts are out of stock on GE website so now I am stuck with a non functional freezer that can’t be repaired. My prior GE lasted 20 years. Very disappointed.

Beautiful but not worth the money

Produce freezes. It was a super expensive fridge to have all the veggies and fruit freeze. Only have had 1 month and repair person said it was fine. Yet, I have to keep all my produce in my old fridge in the garage! It’s beautiful but not worth the money. I expected to spend that much to have a better product!

Nice fridge

The Hot water feature is great for a hot tea! The interior drawer can be set to a specific temperature which is nice for meats or vegetables.
