Terrible toner, terrible printer

Yield was around 400 pages. For the cost per page to print I could have a professional print company print the pages for me. This experience with Brother will be my last, I will never buy from the company again.

Not Happy! TN730 Toner Low Pages

In October 2021, I purchased MFC-L271DW as a replacement for a Brother MFC that I had had for several years. The new Brother MFC came with TN730 toner (up to 1,200 pages.) After 675 pages, we get low toner warning. Very disappointing.

False advertisement in Print pages

I purchased several 730 cartridges and found that I don't get the amount of print pages as advertized for 1200 pages. I am short of 900 when I get a message that my toner is low. Therefore I am unable to continue to use printer until I purchanse another one.

New Cartridge with little ink

I bought a Brother-specific toner cartridge and maybe got 200 pages. this is way more expensive than it should be. I would go to say it is defective at this point.

Disappointed

I bought the laser printer because I'd had bad experience with ink jets. The printer itself was relatively inexpensive. It has worked well, produces nice printouts, had a nice scanning feature, works well as a wireless machine, and is reliable. My disappointment came with the low number of overall printouts before the toner ran out. TN-730 toner works great.

TN-730 toner works great and I would recommend it but the TN-760 appears to provide more copies at a lower cost per copy.

Only half

I have checked and absolutely confirmed that I have a genuine toner cartridge from Brother. Using the web interface under the Maintenance Information tab, my HL-L2390DW current page counter is at 979, with an average coverage of 7.21% per print. I used the "trial" toner cartridge that came with my printer, then purchased a single genuine Brother toner when it had to be replaced, thus, my "last 10 errors" reported are my current toner low, and the previous after my trial toner. Fun to Use Brother Toner

I have been using Brother Toners for more than 25 years. There is no comparison to the fakes--the fakes will ruin your machine. Using Brother Toner gives me the confidence that I need to be the best at my job and it shows!

Toner empty after just 532 pages

I purchased a multifunction printer and was surprised to see that after just 532 pages of printing, I was completely out of toner. The TN-730 advertises 1,200 pages per ISO Standards. However, ISO Standards are based on filling up only 5% of the page, which is the equivalent of a short email. Great printer. Toner will not last what's quoted.

My printer didn't make it to 400 pages. I printed A4 and Letter documents and almost no graphics or images. Most of the time I set the printer to its lowest dpi setting. Great printer, but halve the promised/expected number of printed pages per cartridge.

Not sure how you count pages and I have to say I'm not a high user of my printer most I go thru a lot of paper during tax season; however I just received warning that my cartridge will need replacing soon and it's currently just shy of 12 months.

TN730

The 1200 yield is overrated. We printed just 1 ream of paper (500 pages) and is already showing low tonner.

TN730 Cartridge

Bought the Brother HL-L230DW on the advise of a friend and so far the printer has been great. What is not great is the TN730 cartridge...just started getting a Low Toner warning but according to the page counter on the printer I've only printed 153 pages yet the specs say that I should get 2000 pages. Even if I got 1000 pages I'd feel pretty good about the cartridge but 153 pages is just stupid...I might as well kept my inkjet printer at that rate. C'mon Brother...you can do better than this.
