Dont buy, it’s either a door stop or a lemon

Every other time I go to use this printer, via iPhone, or Mac, it will say “not set up”. After going through another time consuming PIA procedures, it tells me no ink. I replace the ink, and it doesnt recognize the the ink has been replaced, then it says Non brother ink, when it is. I think once, sense I’ve had this printer, I could use this printer more than twice without one or more of the above situations occuring.

Won't print with black ink when color ink is low

Overall, this printer has worked smoothly. However, it now will not print with black ink even though it's almost full . . . because the yellow ink is out. I've gone into the print settings and tried all kinds of ways to tell it to print using only black ink, not color, to no avail. I don't see why I should have to buy more yellow ink in order to print with the black ink I already spent money on. Is this intentional? Or can it actually be fixed? Not my favorite printer

I have had other printers and i gotta say im not impressed with this one really,it prints soooo slow, the quality is just ok .i bought it mainly for printing on my fabric it does ok but if you ask me if i would buy this particular one again i would say no! But i would definitely buy another Brother model because i love the Brother brand but this one just isnt for me..

Terrific Printer!

Terrific printer!! Quality, clarity, sharpness, color are all outstanding! Excellent printer at a reasonable price. Still getting used to some of the controls for copying, but a relatively easy setup and a useful app make it a true pleasure to use.
