A major purchase of a great produced in America

I can say positively that is has been called upon a number of times to provide home power. It never missed a beat! It would trip on within 20 second each time. My New Briggs 22kw Generator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought i this a little over a year ago and it has only had to come on 2 times. It started and powered my house as long as the power was off and shut down when the power came back on. It runs for about 10 min at 4 p.m. every Monday as programmed. It does run a little ruff while running in test but in a actual power out it starts and runs and sounds fine.

Second review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second review--Still a bad unit. Two more service calls since last review 3 months ago. Now the gas solenoid is bad. The unit still has an issue with the unit that sends the run/test information--still no text messages. Many parts replaced on this 3-year-old unit--never has worked right. B&S said that they would contact me---this has not happened.

Service is king

Great backup peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we survived a hurricane and lost power for 6 days so we needed a backup power source. solar is great when the sun shines but if it doesnt then we are out of power. we evaluated kohler, cummins, generac, and briggs. we selected briggs because of our positive experience with their small engines and because their notification system is cell-based. We bought through a local dealer and not from the three choices below.

Worth the Peace of Mind

Dependability, of course...it's Briggs and Stratt
