Ratings & Reviews for Bosch Natural Stone Tile 4 -Piece High-speed steel Masonry Drill Bit Set For Rotary drill
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The tile drill bits appear to have mixed performance. Some customers found them effective for drilling through ceramic and stone tiles, while others experienced issues with the bits dulling or breaking after limited use. Drilling through tile can be a slow and challenging process, even with these bits, and customers recommend using a slow drill speed, keeping the bits wet, and starting with the smallest bit size. The quality and durability of the bits is inconsistent, with some customers reporting poor performance and short lifespan, while others found them to be a good value and effective for their tile projects. Overall, the bits may be a reasonable option for basic tile drilling tasks, but may not be suitable for more demanding or high-volume tile work.

Good but could be a lot better
Out of the box, the bits work great! One thing that would make these a lot better would be if they were one-to-two inches longer. When the depth of the hole is 2-3 inches, the bits are difficult to secure on a hammer drill and reach the depth needed.

Great bits. Terrible storage case.
The drill bits are great. The case is poorly designed because it was over engineered. I wanted to add a matching bit to the case and while the case was tall enough, the “base” holding the bits was anchored above the actual base of the overall case, making useless a full inch of the case. The extra bit I wanted to store would not fit without drilling a hole into that “base”.

Worked Well
Would RecommendI used the 1/4" bit to drill through stone tiles in my kitchen to install a copper pot hanging rail for my wife. I was very pleased as the bit did not walk and allowed me to locate and drill three holes and maintain a perfect level for the rail. I was very pleased with the performance of the bit.
Frustrating waste of money
Would Not RecommendThese will drill one, maybe two holes in cheap ceramic tile. I was on a job and left the diamond hole saws on another project, so figured I would give these a shot. Waste of money and resulted in lost time and money. Even going slow and using water it would take hours to drill multiple holes.

Drill slowelly
Would RecommendBosch Natural Stone Tile 4-Piece Set worked great to install a shower door. Better than the 1/4" diamond hole-saw for the previous bathroom. Just use really slow speed and start with the smallest and work up. Keep the speed slow. This might last to complete one more shower door.
NO Good for Tile
Would Not RecommendThey are not very good on tile at all - thought we bought a good product.
