Not what I had hoped for

Was trying to get through some tile. Just get a pilot hole so using the small bit. Felt like more burning through then drilling. Eventually the tip broke off. Went back to some old bits. Might work in some softer or coarser material.

Useless 1/8" drill bit

Took me 45 minutes to drill a 1inch deep hole with the 1/8" drill bit. Not worth your time. Contacted their customer relations department and told me I had to use a diamond hole saw instead. Why even sell this if they recommend using the diamond instead. False advertising is what it is in the description. Don't dare buy this.

Masonry drill bits

The bits worked as advertised, recommend when using have a spray bottle of water standing by to sprat the bit when your drilling through tile, keeps the bit cool and cutting well.

Worked great!

Installed a glass shower door - first time drilling through tile and worked great on all 8 holes - bit looks great and shows no real sign of wear. Started slowly on rpms before punching through. No chipping, burning, no worries. Each hole took maybe a minute to drill and each one was perfect!

Got the job done. Love them.

Went right through the porcelain tile with no issues. Great product.

fast and lasts

drilled about 30 holes through porcelain 3/8" tile. It was fast accurate and never showed a bit of dulling. Very happy!

Burnt up one but on a single hole

This 4 pack is great and for a decent price. However, I burnt up one bit on a single hole through tile despite being cautious of the amount of pressure I was applying. So now I need to buy another bit to drill the second hole.

Definitely not for porcelain tile

Be very aware of the difference between porcelain and ceramic tile. Porcelain is a subset of ceramic which is much harder, and I found out the hard way. If your hole takes more than 5-10 minutes, either your bit is dull or the material is too hard. These bits have no chance in porcelain, and I ended up using small a diamond tipped hole saw. Huge difference. Unfortunately, Lowes does not carry diamond tipped hole saws which is what's needed for porcelain. I find this a strange part to not carr...

I am a contractor. This is my second set. One of my subs used my first set and had to have them.

4 holes per bit

Hanging fixtures in a tile bathroom: I was able to cleanly drill 3-4 holes with each size bit. after that, the bit was rounded over. Luckily I needed 3 of the 4 sized for different mounting hardware. Unluckily I need to drill 4 more holes with the 3/6 bit and...no dice. It says on the product packaging "not for porcelain tile" despite what it says on Lowe's website. I think the product package information is correct.
