What Customers Are Saying
The drill bit performs well for certain tile types like ceramic, but may not be suitable for harder materials like porcelain. While some found it effective and efficient, others reported issues with the bit dulling or breaking after just a few holes. Customers suggest using a diamond bit for porcelain and buying multiple bits for larger projects to ensure durability.

Would RecommendBought to drill through tile to install a shower door. The tile was commercial grade floor tile backed by concrete, which requires a drill press. But, this is the ONLY drill bit that finally bored a hole as I went through 7 other lower grade bits.

Waste of money
Would Not RecommendDo your self a favor and get a diamond bit with waterering device. Takes way to long and requires to much pressure on tile already installed. Chips tile also. Bosch used to make better quality than this.

Glass / ceramic drill bit
Would RecommendI needed a drill that would penetrate a very delicate piece of pottery. I had tried some of the cheaper models before and had mixed results. This drill was real pleasure to use and did the job very well.

Expensive, and not durable
Would Not RecommendI bought this as it was recommended to drill 2 holes in my countertop to secure my dishwasher. It’s granite, and I got halfway through one hole before it burnt out.

Best drill for tile
Would RecommendI bought this drill in hopes that it would drill a clean hole through ceramic tile. I have to say it’s the best drill I have ever used. It performed above and beyond expected.

Drill bit for ceramic tile
Would RecommendI needed a bit to drill some holes in ceramics tile and salesman al Lowes said this was a new product and he did not have any data on the performance of this product. I used it for a project at church mounting hand rails and the bit will drill very quickly through tile. When I finished it still looked new. I did use a cup of water to dip the bit occasionally to keep it cool. It performed very well.

Perfect for ceramic tile, great price
Would RecommendThe most nerve racking part of my bathroom renovation was drilling into my freshly installed subway tile to install a toilet paper holder -- I needed two small holes fairly close together (about an inch) and was concerned about cracking. This bit made the process a breeze -- tested it out with some spare tile (be sure to use painters tape over the spot you're drilling to stop any skating), kept the drill speed low and the pressure even -- it breezed through the 1/4 inch thick tile with no cracki...
