Would RecommendI was trying to use a regular drill bit and it was not going anywhere. I could bearly make a dent. But this bit in and it drilled the 4 holes in minutes. Put my plastic screw anchors in each hole and easily attached my dryer vent.

Would RecommendNeeded this drill bit to mount microwave on tile wall. Tip: drill smaller pilot hole first, then the large 5/8 inch hole. Trying to drill 5/8 hole through hard tile took forever. Client was afraid of cracking tile, so insisted on drilling only once. They finally agreed to two step process when they saw how long it was taking.

DRILLING IN STONE
Would RecommendI used the bit to cut holes in limestone deep enough to anchor a large fan to a wall. Since the fan rotates and vibrates, the anchors had to be deep and precise enough to secure the anchors and to hold the fan. I drilled six holes without significant sign of wear on the bit.
