Would Not RecommendThis drill bit couldn't even drill 2 holes in basic red brick on a house. Holes that were less than an inch deep.

Would RecommendI finally purchased a safety cover for my pool this year and bought this bit to drill the holes in my concrete to put the anchors. We had 16 holes to drill and this drill bit did a wonderful job drilling every single 2" hole in what I considered the world's hardest concrete! The bit is still in great shape and we can continue to keep using it whenever we need.

Did not uses as hammer bit
Would RecommendI just needed to drill through some tile for our shower. Didn't want to try the hammer drill because I did not want to crack the tile. The bit worked fine but again I didn't use it as a hammer bit so I am not rating it as such.

Would RecommendI have never used a drill like this before so I couldn't give it a 5 rating, but it worked great for me. I used it to drill a series of holes in a 1 - 1/2 thick patio block. I was afraid it would overheat so I sprayed it with water frequently. I used a 3/8 B & D 20V drill and drilled 9 holes in less 15 minutes. I don't know if that is good or bad, but I was very pleased with the performance of both the bit and the drill. (which I bought at Lowes)
