Good Durable 12" Bit
Would RecommendThis was great for drilling through Concrete block, Cinder Block and it's length helped a lot. There was no sway or bend while drilling. It was the right choice for me to make.

Very Durable bit.
Would RecommendThis was needed to get through two thicknesses of concrete block. Though I did not use it from the get go, I drilled a 1/2 opening first then used this bit. I believe it would have gone through by itself, but would have taken more time. I like to use smaller bits first in about any application. I believe this will last me quite a long time.

Disappointed
Would Not RecommendThis drill bit didn't get the job done. After one hour of drilling, I didn't even make it through one inch of concrete. I am thinking about returning it for a refund.

SDS drill
Would Recommenddrilled through the mortar on the brick facing of my home and completely through the cinder-block backing. I was able to run a power line through the hole and bring it right to my circuit box. No need to rent a hammer drill.

Poor quality bit
Would Not RecommendThis was a very pricey drill bit in my opinion. Also very poor quality. I was trying to drill some holes in my concrete slab to mount some anchors. I was trying to drill five inch deep holes, but was only able to get two and a half inches deep in the first hole before the drill bit dulled out on me and quit drilling.

excellent bit for brick
Would RecommendUsed bit to borrow six inches into brick and mortar. The bit stayed cool and cut six perfect holes without slowing down!

masonry bit
Would RecommendI needed to bring an electric cable from an interior wall space thru a brick wall. This bit cut through the 4" brick in seconds using a DeWalt hammer drill which I also bought at Lowe's.

Pretty Good
Would RecommendI would recommend it for a homeowner drilling a few holes. It has a bit of a wobble to it in a new Bosch hammer drill.

Horrible!!! Don't waste your money!!
Would Not RecommendI bought this bit for installing cable on a brick house. Bit went dull and useless before finishing one hole on standard red brick. I went back to lowes and exchanged for the Skil Masonry Bit and finished that hole plus the other 5 with no problem. Just goes to show that more expensive is not always better.

Modified it for a standard chuck
Would RecommendThis drill bit is for a quick release chuck. I had to cut about an inch and a half off of the chuck end of it. If you don't it will wobble in a standard three prone chuck. After the modification it works great.

Worked as hoped for
Would RecommendHad to run wiring through concrete and cinderblock walls and thought I would have to rent a hammer drill. I was able to get the job done with this bit and my standard drill saving the cost of rental or purchase of another power tool that I would most likely never use again
