Unreliable

Doesn't work consistently. Ended up using a cheaper one that came in a four pack. Will be returning.

Good product

Works well with a standard drill. Impact driver eventually blew one apart. Used it for installing drywall

Works when new but wears out quickly

Worked well for first 40 sheets but was poor at 60 sheets.

Product works well, but mine broke midway tthough.

The product broke halfway through drywalling a room. When it was in one piece it set the screws well .

If only I knew before…

This little tool has been a game changer. No longer do I have to use my cumbersome screw gun (which didn’t drive the screw to the right depth half the time). My only regret is I didn’t know about this before I spent money on the gun.

Did not work

The depth would be ok some times then it would drive the screw in way to deep sporadically. The phillips driver is loose making it harder to keep the screw straight. i used the cheep driver that came with the screws.

Good for small jobs

Works good, sometimes the dimpler retracts and the screw goes in too far.

Used For 20 Minutes

I used this thing for all of 20 minutes. It quit driving the screws, just spins won't drive the screw. I wouldn't recommend buying

Works as designed

Found one on clearance for $7 so I gave it a try. Ran some test screws and worked great.

beats buying a screw gun for one time use

I tried the cheap throwaway dimplers and seemed to not get a good lifespan out of them, I was doing a one-time project and did not want to spend 80.00 on a screw gun and came across this gem that worked. I also found that it worked well for wood on a deck project I helped a friend with.

Dimpler screw setter

we used bit and it fell apart and broke before we hung the first board. at 15 dollars apiece I would never use it again let alone recommend it to anyone!!

I love the new design It works better than the previous Version.

Lemon?

I don't know if I got a lemon or what. I've used dimplers a ton for sheetrock, but this one isn't all that great. It worked great for the first 5-6 sheets, then the bit started chattering against the sides and won't drive correctly. I bought it as a secondary one to my dewalt I've had for years. It will be going back. Make sure you have it perfectly square to the sheetrock, that's the only way it works now...
