Great cut angle and depth controls

Well made tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this saw 2 years ago and used it to build a front deck and walkway. It has literally cut hundreds of boards and has never bogged down. My neighbor just borrowed it to lay flooring and commented on how well the saw performed.

rafter hook life saver

Not stable

The magnesium plate is not rigid due to it’s light weight and poor attachments. This allows flex during cutting and result’s on the saw blade binding in the wood.

Obviously well built!

Best saw all around

Check 90 on the Blade, Quick Release & You're Good

Got this saw because of the brand. - Works well / has great power for 2x6 decking, - Has heft but not too heavy, - Controls feel good, - Saw hook on the top of handle is useful. Things I found difficult: 1) it's hard to ensure a good 90 degree on the blade. I find the little adjustment screw to be difficult to get the blade dialed in, and I do believe it moves a little over time / with use. RECOMMEND test cutting before you cut into your project, even if you think you've got this thing ...

great price and quality

This bad boy cuts so smooth and clean. Way better than my Skil saw. Highly recommended!

Good lightweight saw with a minor issue

I bought this because I was looking for a lightweight circular saw to replace my ancient Craftsman saw. It seems to work just fine, but the retainer and spring for the depth adjustment lever flew off the first time I tried to use it. There is a feature of this spring-loaded handle that is supposed to make it easy to set commonly used depths. I haven't had a chance to reach out to Bosch yet, but will do so in the next couple of days. Hopefully, they'll send me a new retainer that won't detach so ...

Surprised at the quality

I had a craftsman that this replacing. I had the saw for close to 25 years and it had been a good saw but looking at the new craftsman they do not have the quality they once had.

Looks & feels nice but it's not very durable!

Bought the CS10 as a backup a while and haven't needed to use it until recently & after only 8 or 10 medium to light duty projects the plastic dust cover that sits just behind the blade is failing & it appears they don't make the parts for this saw any more or I haven't been able to find anyone with much of anything???

Bogs Down, Kicks Back

I am a construction professional, and I love my Bosch impact and drill, and hammer drill, so when our crew's circular saw died, I bought the CS 10 based upon the quality of my other Bosch tools. This saw might be good for occasional use for a weekend warrior, but in building a deck out of PT 2x6, this saw continually bogged down and kicked back until the motor could be smelt overheating. I returned the CS 10 and replaced it with another brand and it cut fine for the rest of the job. I didn't u...

waste of money

This saw cuts smoothly and is fairly easy to handle, but the fact that I cannot keep the saw square at a 90° angle is ridiculous. The saw came way out of square from the factory so I tried to make it square manually with the set screw. that worked ok for a while, until the set screw fell out. Now the saw is almost worthless because it is such a pain to keep square. Also, depth adjustment lever is very hard to use, which wastes time and is very frustrating. I'd stay away from this saw.
