I. Buy this router January 12 2026 and the nut collet are Broking, what could I dod for that.

Do not buy

I see a consistent theme here : this thing won't hold the depth that you set it at. That means that it's useless and a complete waste of money.

Blade Brake

I have an older 4100 purchased in 2010. Really like it except for the amount of time it takes the blade to stop when turning off the saw. Does this new 41100XC have a blade brake or does it free wheel to stop like my model?

Burn up faster than expected

I seem to burn one up every year. Not heavily used in my Shark.

Great router for it's size

I've used this router for roughly 8 years. I also have others that I use for bigger projects. This palm router has come in handy many many times. It's my go to when I work on light projects or on-site calls. It's very versatile for it's size. The biggest issue I have is the router kept loosing the depth setting. Best portable table saw on the market

I needed a table saw for my home shop and after researching the common brands this was by far the best. And it has done everything I have asked it to do flawlessly! My only wish would be if the blade could cut a 4x4. Otherwise a great product.

Very good value

This is the 4100xc model, not the latest. I really like it. Does not have rack & pinion fence but it’s still very accurate and stays parallel to the blade once you know how to use it properly. Has soft start. Includes a narrow rip fence attachment (separate -doesn’t hinge over the fence like on new saws. Table extension seems pretty solid. Zero clearance and dado inserts are available. Love the saw HATE the Manual!

As a teacher, I am sure the person who wrote the manual understands what they wrote. The problem is we are not them. For example I was reading the manual on how to adjust the blade to 45 degrees. It says the only way to do it is to loosen the blade and do some "stuff." Which I am not an engineer. As this product is for the masses, I would recommend having some of your non-engineers play with it by themselves with only the manual. A real workhorse

I bought mine in 2011 and have used it on countless jobs. I recommend the outfit support, but also outfeed rollers for long lengths (to work safely). I use it for restoration work, Cabinets and built-ins. I've run it with a dado blade through hard and soft wood. Just keep all mechanisms, clean and lubricated and this will be very a reliable tool for years.

I am looking for a new one.

My saw has been used on commercial job site for over 18 years. I have had to do very little repairs over the years. It has been abused and probably over used. I have tried others but this is the one I liked the best.

OMG! This is so cool!

This was purchased to finish off the top of a coffee table, and the quality of the job it did is wonderful. The router is light enough to handle with ease but powerful enough to create such a smooth finish. Way to go, Bosch!

Not the best that I expect from Bosch

This router has great power, but the depth lock and the collet can't seem to stay in place. The bit slowly works itself out and it does not matter how hard I wrench down on the not, it slips EVERY time I use it. I really hate this router, actually, as it takes twice as long to get something done because I have to keep stopping and resting the bit and depth. I will replace this router and just dump it in the trash. I own several Bosch tools, but this one is terrible.

Bosch Saw with stand

Have an older model without stand, so bought this as a gift for someone. Love the saw, except for that plastic cover and anti kick teeth. That definitely needs some re-engineering. The stand is nice once you get it tougher. The directions are not helpful, as they say the part numbers, but NOTHING is marked on the actual tubing or bolts when putting it tougher.
