A must tool for installing the flooring
Would RecommendIt was REALLY helpful in pulling the laminate pieces together. Especially at the ends where you couldn't get a hammer behind them. Shims were nice to have for keeping things aligned. The smaller lip was not quite long enough to stay on end of the planks.
Worthwhile for floating floor install
Would RecommendI thought i could get away with using just a hammer and wonder bar, but these made the install much easier and the risk of damaging the top of the flooring is reduced. Worth having.

Would RecommendThe tools held up well during a 300 sq ft install. The tap block fit my laminate perfectly and the pull bar worked when i needed it to. Only down side is the limited number of plastic edge shims. I felt like I needed 5 more and this would be a perfect kit.

Essential kit for DIY flooring install
Would RecommendThe shims were essential to add gaps between the wall and floor edges. They were the appropriate size to not just fall over, but keep in place to do their job. The beating block was sturdy enough to last for about 2500 sqft of floor installation. Careful to beat on the side with the lip that contacts the click-in side of the flooring and not the top surface (it will nick and damage the nice finished edge). The other tool is useful to help hammer in tight areas by walls to keep the boards togethe...
