What Customers Are Saying
The gas can has several design issues that make it challenging to use. The spout and nozzle mechanism is overly complicated, leading to frequent spills and leaks when pouring fuel. The rigid spout design and difficulty in holding and balancing the can also contribute to control problems. Additionally, the spout and nozzle are prone to breaking or malfunctioning after limited use. While the safety features are well-intentioned, the overall execution has resulted in a product that is less functional than simpler, older gas can designs.

Would Not RecommendI wanted a basic gas can to use to fill my mower. After fighting and reading the directions I was able to fill my lawnmower using can. However, I will have to fight and read again because it is "Too Fancy."
Great Mid-Sized Gas Can
Would RecommendBought this can to use for refilling my tractor mower with a 5-gallon tank. I have a 5-gallon metal can but it's just too big and the wide-open spout just pours too fast to be useful. This smaller can is much better for the incremental fills I need. The safety mechanism is a bit of a pain until you figure it out, but then it isn't so bad. On the lawn tractor with a very big fill spout and so much weight it isn't a problem at all. I can't imagine trying to fill a small gas-powered chain saw or ed...
High-Tech Gas Can
Would RecommendI have to say I thought this was a bit pricey when I picked it up in the store, but I was in a rush and didnt see any other options so i just got it. I filled it with gas on my way home and when I got home I went to put gas into my new push mower. This gas can has really great spill-proof / child-proof feature where you can turn it upside down, and nothing will come out! You have to put the end of the nozzle onto the edge of the gasoline opening and press down on a small lever to get the gas to ...
Always spills and there is no vent so it will not pour smoothly. I also have to open the lid slightly while storing so it doesn't swell.
Very hard to use. The safety lock is not easy.
Would Not RecommendThe above says it all.
Excessive Safety Features
Would Not RecommendA gas can is a gas can but this one has a two part safety feature. What happened to just having a straight tube? I get it, some individuals have ruined things for the rest of us but it's a pain to have to click plastic into place then push the side lever against the mouth of what you are filling.
Difficult
Would Not RecommendFound this gas can difficult to pour in the riding lawnmower. Had to remove the cap.
hard to use. not user froendly. Really, improve a gas can ???
Nozzle is horrible
Would RecommendBought this to use for a chainsaw and it makes it hard to poor while holding the dumb safety feature! If someone isn’t smart enough to use a normal nozzle the don’t belong using whatever you’re putting gas in!
2 Gallon Gas can
Would RecommendWell built and holds a little over 2 gallons of fuel. I purchased this for a small 2 cycle engine tool. It only weight about 16 lbs. full. Easier to handle than the 5 gallon container.
