This is the third B&D string trimmer I've purchased, each exactly the same. The first one lasted 3 years, and that was about what I expected since it was getting a LOT of use and wasn't really designed for that. The second one lasted only a year because some sting from a hay blanket got caught around the motor and made it slow down to the point that it was using up batteries in about 1/3 of the time (the 15V batteries wouldn't work at all) and causing the motor to hit and miss. Disappointed in the very short run time of 19 min. Only enough time to do 1/5 of job. Joke, waste of money!

Hard To Find But Does A Great Job

This is my second B&D weed eater/edger. The first lasted for almost ten years. I have extra batteries and line spools so I searched for an exact replacement. I found this one and am very happy with it. I wish the weed eater/edger was available separately instead of having to purchase a kit that includes parts I already have. It would be nice if the description included the part numbers for replacement line spools and batteries. It would also be nice if the description provided line length...

This item performs as promised. I wish I had ordered one with a 40 V battery for a little longer run time, but this one cuts well for @ 25 min. I like that it is so lightweight.

Good little trimmer for small yard

This thing works great for a small yard. Mine is less than 3000 square feet and the battery easily does everything on high power without using the whole battery. Note that this does have a brush motor so not sure how long it'll last and it does make slightly more noise and vibration, but has plenty of power.
