OK For Small yards.

Has good trimming ability for small, short use jobs. I have a big yard and it quit automatic feed after about 14 months. Finally going into 25th month of use I trashed it because I got tired of taking line spool cap off to release more trim line and battery life got poorer and poorer. I've had good luck with other B&D products, but not this string trimmer.

Handy and Sturdy

Light and sturdy comparable to my gas trimmer, battery is also very long lasting, as compared to the my other experinces. Quite good buy

Outstanding Product!

Always loved the Black and Decker brand, and recently started upgrading to the 20 volt products. The weed eater is exceptional!

very solid trimmer with poor charger

The charger failed after first use. Let it sit for a week and it started working again. Evidently these need some freezer time.

Driveway Edger

Ordered online and picked up in store. Set up was simple. Initial use as a driveway edger was successful. In heavy grass along driveway, edger did a great job and had plenty charge for over 30 minutes. Fairly light weight and adjustable handle is good.

This makes the second one I've had and it works great. I guess the old one just burned out from lots of use.

Disappointed

Bought the 20v lithium battery weed wackier about 3 weeks ago. Like how it cuts and the features but the batteries only last a few minutes. One battery runs out before the second one can charge. Considering returning it.

Love this product

Battery power really lasts. Not being attached to a cord lets you go anywhere and this has the power to handle the job.

Absolute JUNK

VERY experienced w/weed eaters. 10-15 minutes of use, under powered...don't wait your time or effort.

Great Trimmer

Wonderful product, works great for my sized yard. Only issues I do have is the battery, this could just be me but it seems that it takes a bit long to charge it. Other than that great product.

Battery Life

The battery does not last more than 1/2 hour. I was hoping for longer life.

Good for standard yard

I got this in august this year needed to get a second battery to get all my trimming done, but that was expected I have a large yard and haven't been trimming sidewalks for a while. The more times I trim it gets a little quicker and easier. Now the bad not too much of a problem but the swiveling handle randomly shifts and has to be reset for my comfort. All & All good product.

Excellent trimmer

I purchased this particular trimmer because it had auto feed and light weight. I am very pleased with it and it meets my expectations.

Very short battery life

I'm a 74 year old woman and can outlast this trimmer any day of the week. Used on the lighter setting, the battery lasts for a scant 15 minutes and takes more than 4 hours to charge. If I had not recycled the box so quickly I would have returned it.

Best weed trimmer I have used

I bought my first one several years ago because I hate trimming my yard and wanted to see if this unit would remedy my complaints. I don't like that every other trimmer I have used was hard on my back & shoulders & I hate bump-and-feed line. This unit is very light & easy to use, not uncomfortable for me at all. this is not worth buying. only 10-15 mins battery use. takes overnight to charge battery. adjustable length handle does NOT adjust long enough if you nare taller than 5'4.

Recommended with caveat

I bought this because I have a small front and back yard - which aren't in very good shape - with the intention of using it in place of my cumbersome electric mower. Front yard is about 180 square feet and the rear yard is about 350 square feet. The trimmer cuts just fine without any problems with cutting heavy grass. Invest in the Fast Charger

Cordless Electric Trimmers (and Mowers) are the way to go today, but expect to get only about 30 minutes run time, so if you are going to be using for longer or are cutting thick stuff, then invest in the Black and Decker Fast Charger BDCAC202B and buy a second battery. Once you do this, you'll love using this trimmer. One other minor issue is that the adjustable handle should be more secure as it can slip from time to time...Black and Decker should correct this.
